Our Story
Art made for rooms people actually live in
KEEPING SUNDAY began with a simple frustration. Most wall art is either disposable or precious, and very little of it is made to sit quietly in a room for years.
We are a husband and wife studio. Every piece in the collection is chosen for composition, palette, and the way it behaves at a distance, because that is how art is actually seen: from across a room, at the edge of your attention, on an ordinary Tuesday.
How the work is made
Each piece is printed to order on archival material with pigment inks rated to hold their color for decades. Framed pieces are finished in a solid wood floater frame in natural oak, espresso, gold, or black. Nothing is mass produced, and nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for a buyer.
What we care about
Muted over loud. Depth over contrast. Work that layers into a room rather than competing with it. If a piece has to be explained, it is not for us.
